• The two host computers on which a domain name is hosted.

• The server info consists of a host name (dns.yourhost.com) and IP number (123.123.123.1 for example).

5. How long does DomainTechs registration process take?

• DomainTechs registration process should only take a few minutes to complete. .com, .net and .org domain names registered through DomainTechs may take up to 72 hours, which is considered normal Internet propagation time, until they are accessible.

6. Is it possible for another person to register my domain name after I have registered it?

• .com, .net and .org domain name availability is verified by DomainTechs and other accredited registrars through the SRS (Shared Registration System), a universal database of available .com, net and .org domain names.  This system prevents a domain name that is successfully registered through DomainTechs from being registered through another domain name registration site.

7. What methods of payment does DomainTechs accept?

• A valid MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Discover card is currently the only means of payment accepted.

8. What can I do with my domain name once it is registered?

• You can use your newly registered domain name to sign up for email services, web hosting services, register domain name servers or create a name for an email server.  Alternatively, you are not required to do anything with your domain name.
