Domaintechs Registration Guidelines
By applying for, and through the use of, a domain name, the applicant agrees to be bound by the terms of the Domaintechs Registration Agreement.
Domain Name Selection Guidelines
1) Domain names should be easy to remember, such as names that reflect the name of the organization.
2) Single letter domain names are not permitted, eg. x.com.
3) Domain names of the type:
.org are reserved for non-profit organizations only.
.net are reserved for network service providers only.
4) Domain names must begin with a letter. Special characters, with the exception of numbers and hyphens, are not allowed.
5) Avoid names that are potentially offensive or controversial.

A domain name can be up to 67characters long including the period and 3 characters that are used to identify the Top Level Domain (.net, .com, .org, .edu, .gov) e.g. ibm.com is 7 characters long.
